Was staying at Euston Travelodge this week, so after having a look at a map, decided to go for a run around Regent's Park.
Got back to the hotel around 7, so watched the first half of the Man U v AC Milan game before setting out.
Unfortunately as the night was drawing in, the park was closed, so ended up running around the "Outer Circle". Two things surprised me - firstly the number of people out running around the park - it must be a favourite haunt or perhaps an organised event? Secondly, was how dark it was considering it's a popular venue.
The view around the park was always coloured in the background with the BT Tower. I think it's a shame I never got to experience the views up there when I was an employee.
On the way back to the hotel I passed the Royal Academy of Music and was surprised to find all of its tens of practice rooms all occupied, even though it was fairly late at night.
