Went out for a lunchtime run today to keep my legs moving.
A huge pack of Lucozade training goodies arrived in the post yesterday (http://www.lucozade.com/sport/products/training-packs/runners-training-pack/), so thought I'd give them a go.
I mixed up a recovery drink and placed in the fridge, and also made up a body fuel drink for the run.
The stuff is pure orangey goodness, and is not fizzy like the bottled stuff can be. It's the first time I've taken a recovery drink, which is meant to help the build rebuild muscles better, so in a way only time will tell how I get on. Let's hope the powder gels and bars can keep me going this weekend!
I went for a country route again, and thought I'd share the photo of one of the roads I ran down - aptly named "Straight Road", and as you can see by the picture - is completely straight (but not very long).
