Today was a real hard run for a number of reasons - I hope there are some lessons learnt for me:
- Don't take a bag full of clothes with you - it's heavy!
- Don't take an mp3 player without headphones - it just doesn't work
- If your calf hurts - stretch it out!
This morning I ran from my Travelodge abode in Covent Garden to work. I met Neil at Holborn station at 7:45, and we bombed it down to the Thames, and ran along until we thought it was wise to start heading in-land. Luckily we made the right call, and ended up going past Earl's Court and Olympia on the way into the office.
As with all of the people I run with, I like to take a photo of them to make them feel part of the experience. Neil's a bit of a look-a-likey, so here's him in his full glory...

I had a constant pain in my left calf during the run which made it all the more difficult; having to stop a few times to stretch it out. I made sure I did enough stretching in the gym but will to be careful on the train journey home!
Mental note: Today's weight was 95.2kg (exactly 15 stone), must check in a month's time!
