Managed to leave work just after 6 tonight, and head back to my hotel in Covent Garden.
Knowing that my beloved Ipswich Town were playing at QPR tonight, I planned a route from my hotel to Loftus Road (past the cool-ly named "Batman Close").
Running through Oxford Circus in the evening is interesting - full of people and the art of people-dodging is currently underdeveloped. I also enjoyed the Tokyo-inspired new crossing they've put in - stopping all traffic flowing through a junction and giving pedestrians the right of a "free for all".
Arriving at Loftus Road, I was greeted with the knowledge that the away entrance had moved, so managed to clock up some extra yards in the process.
£30 later and I was in the ground. A quick paraphrase - first half, QPR awful, ITFC OK, 2-0, second half, QPR OK, ITFC ok-ish, 2-1 final score.

Got the tube back to Covent Garden and found a curry house to reward myself :)
