My legs hurt.
It's a fact, and in a perverse way it feels good. I'm not looking for sympathy or care (although a massage would be nice!), as it's a sign that I'm working hard.
At lunch today we went for a short run with some high-intensity training routines - involving crazy run-as-fast-as-you-can sections off-set with light jogging, and a final run round the green where we ran as a team, and called the person at the back of the line to sprint to the front and carry on (a few altercations with local dogs made this all the more interesting).
My hamstrings and calfs hurt in the evening so I'm looking forward to my rest day on Friday!
Having looked at the map it seems as though the GPS signal wasn't particularly strong, so it looks like we burgled a property and ran through gardens - please be assured that this didn't happen!
