A blue sky greeted me as I left the house on Sunday morning.

My training manual says 7 miles, so I thought I'd try and do a bit of park running.

I ventured round the local but unexplored Holywells Park. It's pretty, but I explored the bogs too which meant wet feet and dirt on my brand new trainers - not good news.

After lapping the park, I ventured down the one-way system and into the town centre.

After pausing at the town hall to see how close I was to my 7 miles, I then pressed on round our local "big park" - Christchurch Park, and decided to take on Woodbridge Road hill - and nice challenge that gets the head and legs working.

Having got so close to home, I realised I still had 3/4 of a mile to do, so I did a little loop around local roads and then popped in for a nice warm bath.
